Abstract
One of the ways to schedule training sessions is using of contextual interference through blocked and random practice programs. The aim of this study was investigating of the contributed blocked and random practice in the systematic incremental contextual interference on the learning of throwing darts. The statistical population of this study was all students of elementary school girls in Gotvand city. Among the population, 60 of 4th, 5th and 6th grades were selected by available sampling and divided into 6 groups of 10 persons. After selecting the sample, a pre-test of the throwing darts was taken from all of the participants. After the pre-test, the participants were randomly divided into 6 groups: 100% blocked,70% randomized-30% blocked, 50% randomized-50% blocked, 30% randomized-70% blocked, 100% randomized, and 100% constant. Each group was given a test run in accordance with the guidelines. Acquisition stage was performed in three sessions. Each participant made 60 trials during each of the 6 blocks of 10 trials. After the end of the acquisition phase, a post-test was performed and 24 hours later, retention test and then 30 minutes afterwards, transfer test carried out similar to pre-test condition. For data analysis used the one-way ANOVA, Mixed ANOVA and Bonferron's post hoc test at significance level p ≤ .05. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the groups in the acquisition stag, but in the retention and transfer test the group of a systematic incremental 70% randomized-30% blocked of the other groups perform better. It was also found that the 100% randomized group had a better than 100% blocked and 100% constant. In a general conclusion, Practice method in the form Systematic Incremental 70% randomized-30% blocked leading to better dart throwing learning, Also, using a randomized practice method is better than constant and blocked practice to better learn the dart throw. Therefore, sports instructors and educators can use more systematic Incremental exercises that are more contributing to a randomized exercise in learning motor skills such as throwing darts.
