The effect of sport exercises mixed with gamification on increasing the motivation to participate in sports classes for Melli Bank employees

Abstract
Introduction: Today, the importance of the health and productivity of the employees of the organizations is not hidden to anyone, and all the organizations are trying to increase their motivation and health, considering the increase in medical expenses and respecting their employees And for this purpose, they use different methods, one of these methods is the use of new gamification methods. In this regard, the aim of the present study is the effect of sports exercises mixed with gamification on increasing the motivation to participate in sports classes for Melli Bank employees.
Method: This study is a semi-experimental study in terms of purpose and data collection method in which the subjects were divided into two experimental and control groups with 12 people and the data were analyzed by analysis of covariance. The data collection tool was sport motivation questionnaire Gil et al. (1983). The statistical population including male employees of Bank Melli in Tehran Province that 24 people were selected by available sampling method, 12 of whom were divided into control group and 12 others in experimental group. Data were analyzed using analysis of covariance using SPSS software.
Results: Based on the results of the obtained covariance analysis test, it can be acknowledged that sports exercises mixed with gamification have a significant effect on the motivation, success, preparedness, energy drain and group orientation of Melli Bank employees and the effect of these activities on each of these components is 25% respectively. 12%, 24%, 29% and 35%, which caused the change of the total variance of the components.
Conclusion: According to the obtained results, it can be said that sport exercises mixed with gamification have a Positive effect on the motivation of participating in the sports classes of Melli Bank employees, and managers of Melli Bank and other organizations can better attract their employees to sports activities and increase the general health of their employees.
