Learning these skills is important because it determines the progress in sports skills and the level of people's participation in physical activities in their future lives. However, the research results show that many children remain in the elementary or preliminary stages of acquiring fundamental motor skills and do not enter the advanced stage of these movements. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of a local indigenous games course on locomotor and manipulation skills of 8-12-year-old boys in Hamadan city.
