The statistical population included all the divorced women of Karaj city in 2023, of which 30 people were selected by available sampling method and then randomly replaced in two experimental and control groups. Dennis and Vanderwaal (2010) cognitive flexibility questionnaire was used to collect data. The data was analyzed using SPSS-26 software. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in all components of perception of controllability (P < 0.001, F = 25.81), perception of different options (P < 0.001, F = 19.66). has it. Behavior justification (P < 0.001, F = 18.39) and cognitive flexibility (P < 0.002, F = 7.02). As a result, communication skills training has been effective in increasing the cognitive flexibility of divorced women.
