Identifying the consequences and intervening factors of rural sports development

Abstract
Rural sports, as a part of the country's sports process, seeks to put all the villagers in healthy recreational and competitive situations by providing the necessary grounds and creating the right environment and opportunity, and by responding to their basic needs, programs to strengthen the body in sync with to nurture the soul. The purpose of this research was to design a relational model of factors affecting the development of rural sports. The research method is developmental and the foundation data method was used to achieve the research objectives. The statistical population of the research included managers and deputies of the General Department of Sports and Youth of the province, managers and deputies of sports and youth departments of the cities of the province, university professors and heads of sports committees of the province and cities. Considering the quality of the research, the statistical sample was selected using the snowball sampling technique. Data analysis was done based on foundational data theory analysis and through open, central and selective coding. In general, the findings indicated the identification of the consequences and intervening factors in the development of rural sports in Razavi Khorasan, and practical suggestions based on it were also presented. Based on the findings, it is necessary to plan for the development of rural sports by controlling the intervening factors so that expert forces can be used in rural sports and also carry out the approved strategic plans systematically and in coordination with other parts of the country. Also, for the development of rural sports, infrastructural obstacles and financial problems should be removed in order to improve the situation of rural sports.
