Designing a model to explain factors affecting the professional growth of physical education teachers

Abstract
The purpose of the research is to design a model of factors affecting the professional growth of physical education teachers. This research was applied in terms of purpose, combined (quantitative and qualitative) in terms of the type of data search and descriptive and exploratory in terms of data analysis method. The statistical population in the qualitative part of the research included 30 experts and educational planners from the Ministry of Education and professors of the university were scientific experts who were investigated by the snowball method up to the saturation limit. In the quantitative part of the statistical population, there were all physical education teachers in the country, which was calculated using Cochran's formula and multi-stage cluster sampling methods. 384 people were calculated. Data collection tool In the qualitative part of the research, in-depth and exploratory interviews and in the quantitative part, the researcher made a questionnaire. To analyze the data, confirmatory factor analysis methods and structural equations, Cronbach and Guttman's alpha test, Kolmogorov Smirnov test, exploratory factor analysis test and Friedman was used. Data analysis was done using Atlas and Lisrel 8 software. The results showed that individual, contextual, organizational and managerial-leadership factors are effective on the professional growth of physical education teachers. Also, the research model has a good fit. Based on this, it can be concluded that in order to develop the performance and growth of employees, individual and organizational factors should be emphasized and the professional growth of teachers should be increased to improve their performance.
