Abstract
Movement is one of the characteristics of human life and has a motivation and root in its nature and a factor for its growth, health and vitality. Man needs to move and it is inevitable to move, preventing a person from moving not only causes growth to stop but also causes depression, abnormal behavior and loss of vitality in his life. Physical education and sports are an integral part of education and a means to achieve physical and mental health of the young generation. Concepts such as wellness, health, personal and social development, and mental health are closely related to physical education and sports. A look at the history shows that the civilized nations of the world have always paid attention to the role and importance of sports and used it to educate their youth and prepare them for personal and social problems. In the life and society of many societies and nations of the world today, physical education and sports are considered an important and inseparable part of the general education programs of children and youth. The main goals of physical education in the history of human life have been maintaining health and generalizing health, growing and strengthening physical strength, preparing for defensive activities, gaining vitality and achieving success in professional and occupational duties. In Islam, protecting the body from dangers and injuries and providing health and hygiene is a divine duty, and weakening or intoxicating the body is illegal and reprehensible. Training and strengthening the body and its all-round preparation is the focus of Islam, and if it is accompanied by remembrance of God, it is the same as worship.
