Abstract
Background: Weight gain is known as one of the cardiovascular risk factors; especially in occupations with low movement and high stress .

Objective: The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of 8 weeks of aerobic exercises on reducing lipids the blood serum of hypertensive male patients was sedentary .

Methodology: For this purpose, 40 male municipal employees of the 8th district of Tehran, suffering from hyperlipidemia (LDL, TG) and blood pressure more than 90.140 mm Hg, with an age range of 32-52 years, participated in this research. These patients were randomly divided into two control and experimental groups. SPSS statistical software and dependent t-test and independent t-test were used to analyze the data. All statistical operations are significant at the 95% confidence interval at the α < 0.05 level. The experimental group participated in the training program of 8 weeks. Before and after the start of the fitness program, both experimental and control groups were pre-tested and post-tested to measure blood fats.

Results: The research results showed that TG, TC and LDL decreased significantly (P<0.05) after 8 weeks of aerobic exercise, but HDL did not increase significantly (P<0.05). In the control group, none of the above variables showed a significant change (P<0.05).

Conclusion: In the present study, TG, TC and LDL significantly decreased after 8 weeks of aerobic exercise, and the lack of change in HDL can be due to the lack of intensity and duration of activity, non-observance of diet and mental stress of the subjects.
