Abstract
Abstract
Objective:The aim of the current research was to design and explain the safety model of sports facilities for patients with multiple sclerosis.
Methods: The current research is one of the mixed research that was conducted qualitatively and quantitatively. Therefore, the current research will be an exploratory research. The Delphi method was used in the qualitative part of the research. Also, structural equation method was used to investigate the quantitative part of the research. The statistical population of this research includes all patients with multiple sclerosis. In order to describe the data, descriptive statistics indicators (prevalence, average, standard deviation, graphs) will be used. In addition, Kolmogorov Smironov's statistical test was used to determine the normal distribution of data, and Pearson's correlation coefficient was used due to the normal distribution of data. Path analysis was also used. All statistical analyzes were done using SPSS and Amos software version 23.
Findings: The results of the research show that after performing the exploratory factor analysis, 4 factors, structural factors, environmental factors, legal factors and evaluation factors were identified. The results of the model show that there is a correlation between the safety components of sports facilities for MS patients, the highest correlation is related to structural factors and legal factors with a coefficient of 0.72, and the lowest correlation is between legal factors and evaluation factors with a coefficient of 0.53. be Structural factors with an overall effect of 0.75 have the greatest impact on the safety of sports facilities for patients with MS, as well as environmental factors with 0.66, legal factors with 0.70 and evaluation factors with 0.58 impact on the safety of sports facilities for patients. They were suffering from MS.
Conclusion:The results of this study help to guide programs for the adaptation of sports facilities for MS patients along with describing the tasks and providing the necessary programs and instructions for the design and construction of sports facilities; And it will familiarize the managers and officials of sports halls with the process of adapting sports facilities and the problems caused by not doing it and the factors affecting it.
