Abstract
Introduction
The sport of table tennis is recommended as a way to increase physical activity at different ages. Specifically, the benefits of playing table tennis are related to hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, aerobic power, and agility.
objective
Therefore, the purpose of this research is to review some tests to evaluate selected physical fitness factors specific to this field.
Methods
The current research was a library type and a systematic review type .By search of the PubMed, Google Scholar, Sid, ResearchGate websites and searching for the keywords "table tennis", "physical fitness factors", "test". In topics related to hand-eye coordination, agility, aerobic power and reaction speed, 120 articles were found from 2000 to recent research in Persian and English . Among the extracted articles, a total of 40 studies were aligned with the research objectives and were analyzed for systematic reviews.
Results
The review of articles showed that 15 studies on agility coefficient, 10 studies on reaction time coefficient, 10 studies on aerobic power coefficient and 15 studies on hand-eye coordination coefficient were analyzed. The agility coefficient of MAT, T test, Agility 505 and shuttle (4x10) tests, the aerobic power coefficient of the 20-meter multi-stage shuttle and critf tests, the reaction time coefficient of Nelson, RAT, FITRO, reaction test to four visual stimuli (SGS.FGS) , reactive agility and measure hand-eye coordination from Dedicated test of Throwing to the target and catching the ball with other hand.
conclusion
Considering the importance of physical fitness factors for table tennis, coaches of this sport can use appropriate field tests to evaluate table tennis physical fitness and design training programs, monitor athletes' fitness, and select players.
