The necessity of promoting public sports in schools on the health of students

Abstract
Background: Exercising in today’s world where new computer technologies (such as social networks, game and etc...) take a lot of students’ time and reduce their physical activity, and the necessity of sports in students learning becomes more important .But most of the time, unfortunately, sports are often neglected in schools and the bell of sports is removed or it becomes a time to make up for the backlog of other subjects. Inactivity in students will increase stress and self-esteem, depression, insomnia, etc. Many researches have shown that exercise, in addition to being a valuable tool for maintaining physical health, has a close relationship with mental health and especially the prevention of mental disorders. Exercise reduces anxiety and depression and increases self-confidence. There is a need to pay special attention to physical activities and spots in students.
Aim: purpose: The impact and role of public sports on the physical and mental health of students and the need to promote it in schools.
Methodology : In this research , by collecting articles related to student sports (sports class and extracurricular activities), mental and physical health, inactivity, etc., the effects of inactivity during Corona and its impact in Post-Corona and their analysis, the reasons and weak points and solutions to encourage students to do exercise and their health were investigated.
Results and discussion: Studies showed that the health status of students who were active in public sports was better than inactive students, and as the duration of sports activities increased, there was also the possibility of increasing the general health of students. There is a need for motivational factors such as awards, rewards, etc., as well as scientific programs related to the development
