Abstract
Abstract
Introduction: Hyperactivity is a type of psychological disorder that has attracted the attention of
many researchers and this disorder can be effective in the educational progress and overall
direction of children's lives. Until now, researchers have not understood the relationship between the amount of physical activity and psychological disorders of childrenThe purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between
physical activity and aggression of children with hyperactivity.
Methods: In this semi-experimental and comparative causal study, 90 children aged 8-12 with
hyperactivity were selected as a statistical sample with the consent of their parents. Then, in the
presence of the parents and with their help, the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ)
and the Connors Attention Deficit Questionnaire were evaluated. To analyze the data,
Kalmogorov-Smirnov tests and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used. Data analysis was
done in SPSS software version 26 and the significance level was 0.05.
Results: The results showed that there is a significant and negative relationship between the
amount of physical activity and the violation of attention of children with hyperactivity (P=0.03
and r=0.89).
Conclusion: In general, it can be concluded that doing regular and long-term physical activities
can reduce anxiety and decrease attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder in children with this
disorder. In the descriptive statistics section, the mean and standard deviation were used to check the normality of the data distribution, the Kamoligrove-Esirnov test was used, and to check the relationship between the variables, the Pearson correlation coefficient test was used in the SPSS version 26 software. 5 percent was considered in all tests
