Adventure tourism is a trip to a destination (based on nature tourism) to participate in adventurous activities through which unique and valuable experiences will be gained, and these experiences are obtained from participating in risky activities and interacting with the natural environment. The purpose of understanding the motivations of the participants of adventure sports is that due to the growing demand and increasing popularity of adventure sports, we need to better understand and know the participants and individual characteristics of these activities to target these motivations in providing tourism packages as well as providing health and well-

Methodology:
In terms of the type of data, this research is classified as qualitative research, and in terms of its purpose, it is practical. The sampling method in the targeted qualitative section is of a mixed type. In this method, sampling continues until theoretical saturation is achieved, which was achieved in this research by conducting 17 interviews. The method of data analysis was using the thematic analysis of the six-step approach of Brown and Clark (2006) and coding was used to analyze the interviews. Data collection was done using semi-structured interviews with adventure tour participants. Acceptability, transferability, confirmability, and retesting were used to measure

Findings:
The findings from the analysis of 17 interviews with participants in the research led to the identification of 12 main themes and 26 sub-themes. Tourists have various motivations such as success seeking, risk-taking, pleasure and excitement, contact with nature, physical activity, social motivation, escape from everyday life, testing personal abilities, experiencing a new challenge, sense of relaxation, being in the moment and the value of belonging to a group among the
.motivations of the participants. They are adventurous in sports tourism

Conclusions:
Many countries are competing to increase their benefits and income from this international industry. According to the service nature of the tourism industry, tourism packages play an important role in attracting tourists in marketing and advertising. It is suggested that tourism-related organizations and tourism agencies use the identified incentives to prepare their tourism
