Effective factors in choosing football schools in Tabriz from parents' point of view

Abstract
Abstract
Background: Football is the most popular sport in the world. Therefore, teenagers and teenagers are eager to join this dynamic and exciting sport, so choosing a suitable football school is one of the concerns of parents.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the selection of football schools in Tabriz from parents' point of view.
Methodology: The statistical population of the study was 700 parents of young adults and adolescents of football schools in Tabriz, who were selected using the Morgan table. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to determine the face and content validity of 10 instructors and physical education and sports science professionals. Cronbach's alpha and the reliability of the questionnaire was 0.86 and finally, 120 questionnaires were analyzed. Four items of measurement: Ethics and behavior of instructors, knowledge of instructors, tuition, and location. After ensuring the normality of the data, a one-sample t-test was used to evaluate the importance of each item. The Friedman test was used to prioritize the item at a significant level (p≤0.05).
Results: Considering the significance level of the one-sample t-test for all items is less than 0.05, it can be claimed that these questions have been of great importance in the studied population. Also, the findings of the four items showed that there is a significant in difference the priorities of the items the through Friedman test(p≤0.05). In other words, the difference between the four items is significant. It can be concluded that the most important priority of parents in choosing football schools was, respectively, ethics and behavior of coaches, knowledge of coaches, place and tuition.
Conclusion: Since the most important step in choosing a football school is the parents' overview of that place, therefore, recognizing the factors affecting the decision-making process of parents is an important step for club managers to obtain parental consent.
