Introduction
Due to the presence of various people and big profits in sports competitions, abuse can also occur in sports institutions. Training environments and athletes' competitions can have both positive and negative effects on their health and performance.
Research goal
The purpose of this research was to identify and confirm the components of abuse management in Premier League football clubs and their effect on the association of the clubs' brand.
Methodology
The research method was mixed exploratory. Statistical population in the qualitative section, former members of disciplinary and ethics committees; 6 people as well as the players of the Premier Football League of Iran; 40 people; And in a quantitative part, there were fans of 5 prominent Iranian clubs. In the qualitative part, using the Delphi method and in the framework of negligence, psychological and physical indicators, the components of abuse examples in the Premier League were identified and then these components were confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis.
Results
The results showed that abuse management in Premier League football clubs is effective on brand association, brand identity, and brand loyalty, and ultimately improves brand equity. The important point for this thesis is to gain a new insight into some anomalies. Inappropriate behavior of managers will tarnish the identity and association of the team's brand. So, in the first step, managers should identify the examples of abuse with more strictness. The second step is to correctly identify the amount of fault. In the third step, should know the correct methods of solving these abuses.
