The effect of knowledge management on organizational performance in human resource management of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Kerman province

Abstract
Purpose: The main purpose of the research was the effect of knowledge management on organizational performance in human resource management of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Kerman province. The research was applied in terms of purpose and was descriptive-correlational in terms of method.
Statistical population: The statistical population of the research was all the employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Kerman province (736 people), using the Cochran formula, 402 people were selected by stratified random method.

Method: The data collection tool was a questionnaire. In the strategic management of human resources, the organizational performance questionnaire of Niknejad (2014) and Hersi and Goldsmith (2013) was used, and the knowledge management questionnaire of Nonaka and Takeuchi (2010) was used. The content validity and reliability of this research was determined by Cronbach's alpha and it was obtained for strategic human resources management of 0.831, for organizational performance it was obtained 0.823 and knowledge management was calculated as 0.798. The collected data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.

Conclusion: The findings of the research showed that knowledge management through the strategic action of human resources has a direct and indirect effect on the organizational performance of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Kerman province. Also, the results of the research show that the strategic measures of human resources positively affect the capacity of knowledge management and, on the contrary, positively affect the organizational performance.
Also, the research results are useful in the theoretical development of a conceptual model to explain the relationship between strategic actions of human resources, knowledge management capacity and organizational performance.
