The effect of eight weeks of cognitive-motor games on basic motor skills and academic achievement motivation in boys with motor delay.

Abstract
Background: Today, movement delays are one of the important issues in the field of children's movements in schools. Movement delays are caused by factors such as the lack of providers in the environment or, in other words, the lack of environmental enrichment. In this context, teachers and coaches should pay special attention to this category and pay attention to it in the process of physical education in schools and clubs at elementary ages, especially in the discussion of fundamental movements.
Purpose: The purpose of this research was the effect of eight weeks of cognitive-motor games on basic motor skills and academic achievement motivation in boys with motor delay. Methodology: The statistical population of this research was made up of elementary school students in Tehran city in 1401-1402. For this purpose, 30 children who obtained the lowest scores in the TGMD-2 test and the motivation questionnaire were selected from among the studied population and randomly divided into two control groups (15 people) and experimental (15 people) were placed.
Results: For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics were used to check the mean and standard deviation of the data, and inferential statistics were used to check the effect and difference between the two groups. The results showed that educational games had a significant improvement in the motor skills of the experimental group compared to the control group.
Conclusion: Based on the findings of this research, and the articles presented in line with the above article; It can be said that with appropriate development programs, motor skills and motivation can be increased in these children.
