Abstract
Objective: The development of women's sports is an important part of the national socio-economic development, because due to women's position in the heart of society and the influence of sports, it will bring an achievement beyond sports results. The spread of women's sports increases the social vitality, promotes the heroic sports, and makes the name of the nations popular. Therefore, the purpose of the current research is to identify the challenges of elite women's championship sports to participate in international competitions.
Methodology: Qualitative research method (data base theory). The statistical population of the current research includes: experts, experts, professors, coaches and athletes in the field of women's sports. Snowball sampling method was used for in-depth interviews. The research tool was an interview that was conducted with 15 people. The validity of the research tool (interview) was examined and confirmed by the interviewees and then expert professors, and the intra-subject agreement method was used to measure the reliability, and according to this method, the reliability value was equal to 0.90. In this way, the reliability of the test was also confirmed. In order to analyze the data, the data-based theory method was used.
Results: The findings of this research showed that the challenges of elite women's championship sports to participate in international competitions include: lack of suitable sponsors, injustice in sports, lack of suitable sports facilities, lack of suitable sports infrastructure for women, problems Financial, lack of expert trainers for women's sports, lack of sending to international sports camps and competitions, lack of proper management system at high levels, existence of strict rules and regulations regarding women's sports and negative attitude towards women's sports. that these main categories have some open and central codes.
Conclusion: Therefore, we conclude that for the development of women's sports, the authorities should provide suitable conditions and infrastructure for the participation of all members of the society in the sports sector and change people's attitude towards women's sports. This change of attitudes can have an impact on people's lifestyle and increase their tendency towards sports activities.
