Abstract
In action research, usually the teacher is the researcher and the main research role is the responsibility of the teacher. In this way, the teacher, as the main executor of the research project of theory and practice, can solve the concrete problem he is facing or make it possible to improve things. For example, explore the problems of the teaching process step by step during a certain period of time and using various research mechanisms (observation, interview, questionnaire and background research). Action research is a non-traditional form of research that is often community-oriented and is conducted by an intern or a group of them. The purpose of action research and educational research is to describe the conditions or phenomena related to the educational system. By using action research, it is possible to determine the situations related to educational actions and operations and try to improve it. In action research, the teacher's goal is to find out the relationships between phenomena or - so to speak - variables, and the most important thing is to investigate the issues that the teacher is involved with in the classroom and in the field of teaching and wants to find their answers scientifically and through research. . Therefore, making a change, adjustment or modification in the existing situation is the main goal in the research action. Therefore, the position of educational action research in order to increase the skills and research competence of teachers, especially elementary teachers, is felt as a need and necessity. In this article, the impact of physical education teachers' action research on the growth and prosperity of physical education and student sports in schools is discussed. In short, the application of this approach can provide the basis for improving and improving the level of students' learning, educational programs, teaching methods, teaching-learning methods and the development of neglected professional qualifications in teachers.
